Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Surgeon’s Eye. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our web application, including all features, content, and services available at or through the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. User Roles
We offer three types of user accounts:
1.1 Admin
Reserved for the internal team. Admins have full access including uploading/removing any videos, moderating all comments, editing content and categories, managing users, and assigning “Surgeon” roles.
1.2 Surgeon (Creator)
Reserved for verified surgeons approved and assigned by the internal team. Surgeons may upload their own videos, remove their own content, moderate comments under their videos, and add comments site-wide. Surgeon comments may be visually distinguished.
1.3 General User
Anyone who registers. Users may view and comment on all videos and create personal playlists using the “Saved” feature.
2. User Conduct
The user agrees to use the platform responsibly, which entails the following:
• The User shall not violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• The user shall fill in their information truthfully and shall not abuse the registration form
• The User shall not use any kind of disrespectful/hateful/harmful speech
Surgeon’s Eye reserves the right to suspend or terminate the User’s account for violations of these Terms.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the platform—including videos, images, text, graphics, and logos—is owned by Surgeon’s Eye. The User may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without written permission from Surgeon’s Eye.
4. Video Content and Comments
• Uploaded videos are subject to moderation by Admins.
• Comments are monitored to ensure a respectful educational environment.
5. Account Security
The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities that occur under their account. Please notify Surgeon’s Eye immediately in case of any unauthorized use.
6. Availability and Modifications
Surgeon’s Eye may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without notice. Surgeon’s Eye is not liable for any interruption of the User’s account, or loss of access to the platform.
7. Termination
Surgeon’s Eye reserves the right to suspend or terminate User’s access at their sole discretion, with or without cause, and without prior notice.
8. Use of Account Information for Research and Analytics
By creating an account on Surgeon’s Eye, the User agrees with collection and analysis of the provided information (such as email address, country, professional background, and role) for the purpose of research and platform development.
All data will be handled responsibly and, when used for research or reporting purposes, will be anonymized and presented in a non-identifiable manner.
